Cayman, the Land of Submarines!

There is so much here in Cayman that you can enjoy if you want to do a little day excursion from Silver Sands. The submarine is an activity for everyone young and old! Enjoy the pleasant drive down 7-Mile Beach into Georgetown, hop on the submarine shuttle and enjoy a 20 min surface boat ride to where the submarine is moored, and then enter into the submarine for your underwater adventure!

"The Cayman Islands are one of the top scuba diving destinations in world, and with Atlantis Submarines, you don't have to be a scuba diver to experience the underwater world. The 48 passenger Atlantis Submarine offers a unique but relative option for anyone seeking things to do in the Cayman Islands.
Our guests are treated to the captivating experience of a real submarine dive, in air-conditioned comfort, while discovering coral canyons and brilliant tropical fish of Cayman's National Marine Park to depths of 100 ft.
Day time and Night time departures are offered.
The Seaworld Observatory is a 40 passenger Semi-Submarine, designed and built specifically for Atlantis Inc. for viewing of the shallower reefs.
Guests simply descend into the observatory and enter a wall-to-wall glass-viewing chamber five feet below the surface, gazing at teeming shallow reefs and shipwrecks.
Atlantis Submarines is a sure place for things to do in Grand Cayman that will make your vacation unique, relevant, and memorable."

Seven Mile Summer Sunsets

Summertime in the Cayman Islands is rainy season, which can mean a multitude of things... it can be a passing storm for 10 minutes that comes through unannounced and leaves just as quickly leaving you with a crystal clear day like it never happened, it can mean a wet thundery day all day long, or it can be a perfectly sunny day for you sitting in your lounge chair on the Silver Sand's beach while watching Georgetown disappear into oblivion. Whichever way the weather turns you never know how those sunset are going to end up, with all the moisture in the air and clouds in the sky there are times when that just makes the evening explode with color as the final rays of sun sink down below the horizon.
