Silver Sand's Incredible Interiors

It is time to show some interiors! Silver Sands is one of the oldest condo complex's on 7-Mile beach and the exterior buildings are very 70's Cayman style but the interiors have certainly been upgraded to a variety of different modern styles that make your stay at Silver Sands comfortable and serene.

Lets take a tour of some of our favorite shots from our rental interiors, starting with...

The Living Room: Imagine yourself taking a break from the gorgeous beach, which can admittedly get a bit hot sometimes! and chilling indoors in the AC. Enjoy the view of the tropical gardens and the Cayman blues of the sky and sea. Settle into the sofa with a good book, a Cayman magazine, or better yet a fish ID book to identify the colorful fish you just saw on your dive or snorkel.

The Patio: Before hitting the beach have a light breakfast or coffee on the patio and enjoy the morning light on the turquoise water, watch the birds flit about the garden and enjoy the fresh air and the view.

The Master Suite: Wake up, open the blinds and check out the view! The sprawling gardens and bright blue sea will get you right out of bed and ready for a day on the beach.

The Dining Room: Enjoy a casual lunch, BBQ dinners, or even hire a private chef to cater a special meal for you and your holiday loved ones to be deliciously devoured in the beautiful decor of the open plan dining room.

The Kitchen: All the kitchens are fully equipped for cooking, drinking and even storing and reheating take out from your favorite Cayman Restaurant.

The Bedrooms: The rental units at Silver Sands have 1, 2 and 3 bedroom options all with slightly different layouts. Please check out the website to find the condo that will best suit you and your holidays needs.

Silver Sand's Sunsets for the Soul

The shores of Silver Sands Condos have seats lined up for you to view some of the best sunsets on earth. Cayman has some of the most beautiful and most interesting sunsets and if you are extra lucky you might even see the Green Flash. A green flash only happens in the most clear atmospheric conditions, and it is great to see that sunset sink below the horizon. However stormy sunsets and even a bit of clouds in the sky make for some gorgeous colors and reflections.

We can't wait to open our beach and welcome our tourists back and fill our evenings with sunset sails, paddle boarders, beach walkers and swimmers. Soon come!

The Beauty of Silver Sands

As we sit here at Silver Sands in the beautiful Cayman Islands, but with no guests, we feel it is time to keep everyone's dreams alive, and keep your memory of 7-Mile beach stimulated with pictures.

We know we will all get through this and the Cayman Islands are strong. We miss our tourists and as soon as it is safe for you all to come back we will open our doors, beaches and pools again with open arms.

Get Into the Cayman Culture at the National Gallery!

The lazy days at the Silver Sands beach tend to be the perfect vacation. But if you are the type of person who wants to explore your surroundings and become immersed in the local culture, take a day to visit the Cayman Island's National Gallery, it is well worth the trip!

The website will have their opening hours and current exhibits, as well as any fun and interesting events they may be hosting. There is a small coffee shop as well as a gift shop. It will probably take you about 45 minutes to take everything in but of course that is up to you, take all day if you want, the beach will be there when you get back.

From their permanent collection of local artist's upstairs, to the ever changing exhibitions downstairs, you are sure to learn more about the Caymanian history, culture and art.

Once you are finished taking in all the beautiful works of art in the gallery, don't forget to peruse the gift shop where there are local products, local works of art, local books, reproductions of what you just saw and lots of other fun Cayman souvenirs.
